Thursday Thoughts

Protesting when an American voices their opinion is getting very old. Why does anyone care what someone else says? If you're at peace with how you live your life, what difference does someone else's opinion make?

We still do not know the truth about Benghazi. Why is that?

Members of Congress passed a budget. Big whoop. If it was a good budget, that leaves raises to the military and retirees in tact, maybe it would be a big deal. Why the emphasis on compromise as if its the holy grail?

Barbara Walters did her last Most Fascinating Person special last night. That's good, especially since she decided Hillary Clinton is the most fascinating person of the last 20 years! PUHLEASE. However, Barbara DID say in a recent interview that her one regret is not having more children. Were young women listening?

People's private phone calls being hacked? Not even celebrities deserve this kind of invasion of their privacy. NO ONE deserves it.

Decided to use a different computer and voile! I can post.

The new budget lowers military retirees' pensions? Really? My 96 year old Dad, World War II and Korean War vet should be "grandfathered" into the present system at the rate he is already getting. New military can then be effected by new retirement rates. We need to keep our promises!

1 of 7 children are diagnosed with ADHD before the age of 18? Isn't that extreme? My boy who was diagnosed as ADD took medication between the ages of 9 and 16. He decided to not use it on his own. He is now a husband, father and successful businessman. He's learned how to cope. Why aren't we taking a similar approach?

Lifeguard drones? Maybe that's a good domestic use for drones.

Obamacare is creating more Medicaid recipients. How is THAT a good idea?

Computer Friends

What is it about a computer that feels like an old friend? My lap top is back home now and works pretty well. So far. Of course, there are some features that I cannot use on this page but here goes ...

Barack Obama is taking heat for goofing around at Nelson Mandela's funeral. The photos even show Michelle Obama less than happy with her husband's antics. I don't like it but considering all the dumb things this narcissist does, this is small potatoes.

Celebrities who are asked to share their political opinions should keep their mouths shut. Who cares what Ben Affleck, Martin Sheen or Kelsey Grammer have to say about politics? Talented though they may be, their opinions are not of any more value than yours or mine. John Stossel posted a great article about hypocrisy among clebrities:

Barack Obama wants to talk about income inequality. Let's not allow him to change the subject from Obamacare, Benghazi, the IRS scandal, etc. There is a very easy way to change income inequality. Expect young people to do well in their educational pursuits and have a booming economy that allows them upward mobility. Of course, the President of the United States does not understand this very basic concept. He wants those who have worked hard to give more. Guess he hasn't noticed that Americans are the most generous individuals on the planet!

Tuesday Thoughts

With the list of people who have lost their insurance and now have to pay much more for their health coverage growing, when will the American people speak out and stop the madness that is Obamacare?

Does anyone know where to find and read the Obamacare regulations? Those regulations are causing so much heartache, shouldn't we be able to find them easily?

VOLUNTEER fire departments closing because of Obamacare regulations? Really?

Atheists' war against Christmas seems to be getting more and more attention. One more thing to fight. I wonder how we can fight all the battles? There are so many.

So now a judge has commanded that a baker MUST make a wedding cake for a gay couple. Wrong.

Will Obama voters ever have buyer's remorse? Some have but what about the others? Will they ever SEE what they've done?

Nelson Mandela chose forgiveness over resentment. A great example of us all.

The media telling us that the POTUS shook hands with Raul Castro is unnecessary. We know Barack Obama admires communists. We don't need a reminder.

The only way we will ever stop the madness in our country is to stop the madness in our own lives.
